“Abide” is the expression of unity, and that the heart of God is our dwelling. This artwork is experimental in technique and colors, aiming to express the presence of God through vibrant strokes and splatters of color all around. Jesus is stained with red, representing how He was the sacrificial lamb that died for us. The figure that rests on His heart is saying “abide” in Hebrew, showing the audience that our fulfilling and joy is found in abiding in the Lord.
